Integration Is About Removing Friction

The purpose of OR integration isn’t simply to put more technology into the operating room.

It is to remove unnecessary friction between the technologies already being used.

The goal is a workflow where:

  • Devices generate information.
  • The integration layer connects it.

  • The hospital retains useful surgical information.

That changes the role of OR integration.
